Žalý view tower is near the town Vrchlabí and offers breathtaking views especially of the Krkonoše Mountains. The route from Benecko to Žalý is moderately easy so it is suitable for families with children. The distance is 2.6 km with occasional ascends and descends. In proximity of the tower there is a restaurant, where you can get warm and recharge your batteries for the journey back. It is an ideal way to spend time in nature with your family.
How to get there?
If you travel by car, take the direction to Benecko. The journey is 8.5 km long and takes about 15 minutes..
If you decide to go by public transport, take the bus to Benecko (stop hotel Kubát) from the Vrchlabí bus station, platform 5.
Route: from the bus stop (Benecko, Hotel Kubát) take direction to hotel Bára. After almost half a kilometer of a slight ascend you will reach first guide post where you turn right.

After about 200 m you will get to another guide post after which you will continue on red route.
200 m before the view tower there will be the last guide post which will guide you to the finish.
