Summer in Vrchlabí

During your visit there is a variety of activities available such as cycling, hiking on the ridges of the Krkonoše Mountains or at foothills, swimming, tennis, golf, horseback riding, scenic flights above the mountains, school of paragliding, parachuting or flying with glider, riding on bobsleigh track or for example beer festival and many other activities. More over there is plentiful cultural programme such as concerts, exhibitions, discos, visits of open air cinema and also top competitions.

Winter in Vrchlabí

Vrchlabí and the Krkonoše Mountains offer excellent conditions for downhill and cross country skiing as well as snowboarding. The visitors can ski in several nearby ski resorts (Kněžický vrch, Herlíkovice, Špindlerův Mlýn and Jánské Lázně), which offer pistes of all difficulty grades, high quality skiing and night skiing. In all resorts there are ski schools for both adults and children available. Also lovers of hiking with snowshoes or of ski mountaineering can enjoy their stay here. There are several legal ski mountaineering tracks in Krkonoše.
